Longhand preferably, but really can’t see that happening.

Just writing for three pages whatever crosses your mind, it doesn’t have to be in proper sentences, doesn’t have to make sense, not even to yourself a few days later.

It’s just to declutter your mind and make yourself aware of what’s going on in your mind and your “self-talk”.

Only 67 words, how many words are a a page? I better find out.

I wonder if this really works.

Well on the other hand it’s just supposed to get you used to writing at all, just writing what you think and getting used to the process without being so critical you put the pen down again after 6 min.

That is what usually happens with me, I start writing and then I re-read it and go: “That’s not good enough, there is a mistake and that is odd and so on” and before I now it I am too busy worrying about what is wrong too actually do any writing.

Oh my god, it seems about 350 words are one page so I would need to write 350×3 is ahm 1050 words.

Yeah, that won’t take me long I’ve got 200 already. <- Sarcasm.

Might as well get to work on my new years resolution list.

The things most important to me and that I have been focusing on (other than my baba of course) are

1. loosing weight and getting in shape

2. studying, learning

3. getting the house and the garden in shape

4. Finances, budgeting, planning, saving

Well I better start my list then:

New Year’s Resolutions

1. loose 16kg’s and get to 50kg

2. get my fitness up, be able to run 1h without pause

3. run a 10km in a reasonable good time

4. learn how to shop healthy

5. learn how to cook healthy

6. eliminate emotional eating

7. build strength, do my weight workouts

8. focusing on my Cert IV and the diploma

9. study hard, be organized, get good grades

10. Get back into translating

11. learn spanish

12. develop my own active blog

13. painting the whole house, very colourful

14. building a veggie patch

15. planting some nice flowers

16. changing things around in the  house so they suit me and look better (book shelf etc)

17. using my library card, making an effort to get in

18. Reading more, make a booklist for every month

19. write more, write everyday, write at least two stories down

20. making a budget for every month and sticking to it

21. Saving as much money as possible every month

22. Get my own car

23. Make my driving test and get my licence

24. Get a new wardrobe

Okay 21 isn’t so bad and I’ve got oh no only 400 words.

Just watching a show about a journalist, how full of herself, yuck!

I don’t think I ever would want to be a journalist, more a writer and translator.

It would be awesome if I could write a book, like the woman who wrote Twilight in only three months you know.

Just living the story, thinking about it all the time, writing it down as I go along. But it never really sounds as good as it looks in my head, but then again when I read Lord of the rings, if you only read the words it doesn’t sound like much either, it’s only when you really get into the story that the characters and scenes become alive and you start to really feel it.

The trick I guess is to just write and write and write, and well once it is done you can always go back and edit, edit, edit. So it becomes a book instead of a blobbering mess.

I am really not sure how you can write a thousand pages every morning, about anything. I am struggling after 1 1/2 pages which aye means I made it halfway already.

Luckily this blogthing has an automatic save option wuhuu.

I really have to sink my teeth into poetry over the summer. I’ll try to get the writing exercises finished by Chrismas, which is next week.

I mean they really don’t have to be good, just up there. Then I go back look at them, edit them or write completely new ones.

After that I can put down some comments in the discussion board and comment on some of the other guys work.

I think I should re-read my weight loss book, well they are not so much weight loss books as mindset books I guess.

I have to fundamentally change my eating loosing weight or no, I really need more energy to do all the things I want to do.

I like dancing, I think I’d like to do more of it in the future.

Swimming, bicycling, running, jogging and so on. I need to eat right to have the energy to do all those things.

Get up the strength to do the strength training and work out and so on.

Learn spanish, do the translating online. Really use 2010 to learn and learn and learn.

Well got the first two pages done anyway, jees this is hard work.

Another two hundred words and I am good, you know I can see how this could really get you used to writing.

Just getting your thoughts down, I would prefer longhand but I just can’t write fast enough to keep up with my brain, I struggle typing even.

Not to say my brain is fast, just my hands are slow and so on.

Yeah 2010 should be the learning year.

I will finish the Cert IV hopefully with a good grade and start the Diploma this year.

I will loose all the weight I have gained and get back into shape.

After all I already lost 22kg and only need to loose 16 more. Everything is so much easier already. I eat better, move around more I think I have built a solid base upon which I can stand to continue to grow and get better and better.

There will always be slip ups of course and little set-backs, but as long as I get back up again and keep on trying with every meal, every hour to do better.

Well, I think I’ll get where I want to be fast.

I do have a whole year to accomplish all this and with most things I am already half way there. I already now bits of spanish, lost most of the weight, started the course, have a budget and even my own little income.
